FLOODPLAIN MAPPING AVAILABLE ONLINE To determine if a home or property is located in a Special Flood Hazard Area you can search the Ross County Auditors Online GIS mapping system for information. Go to http://co.ross.oh.us/auditor/ Under property search select Map. Click on the Basemap tab on the left. Next checkmark Flood Zone and FIRM Panel. On the map zoom in to the subject property and use the select icons to determine the floodzone type. Be sure to have the Flood Zone layer title highlighted on the left.
